Fate is a sea without shore, and the soul is a rock that abides;
But her ears are vexed with the roar and her face with the foam of the tides . . . medium: oils I painted this in my junior year of high school. Forgive the fuzziness -- the canvas is too large to fit in my scanner, so I needed to take a picture of it instead. Although the painting is mine, I can't claim the composition. My art teacher had a file full of pictures for us to choose from, and was based on one of them. |
