I painted this in fourth grade during my gifted class's unit on sunflowers. Really, I'm only uploading it because my gallery is too text-heavy, and this was the only painting I had lying around which was small enough to fit in my scanner. |

There is a real feel of sunlight here, one that can only be portrayed by a person with happiness. I'm guessing you shifted a lot from your youth into puberty. I find however that the true essense of a person doesn't die so somewhere in you is this sunflower field.

You're right there. A lot of stuff went down in my family right after this, and I changed a lot as a person. It's one of the reasons I always say that I wasn't really myself before puberty.
